### The sky is breaking

The heavens are not what they once were. Domains of fire, earth, air, and water have turned hostile, and the zodiac guardians who once held the constellations in balance now stand in your path. You are **Orion** — the hunter — a lone star-ship cutting through bullet curtains, chasing the truth behind the sky's collapse.

Your run carries you across **thirteen chapters**, through shifting elemental regions and escalating wave formations. Survive each chapter, choose your reward, grow your build, and press onward until the **Metal Finale**: a confrontation with **Atlas**, who has held the heavens since the beginning — and will not let go.

Beyond the final gate lies a deeper story. Defeat Atlas and you may begin to **rescue the Pleiades** — seven lost sisters whose light unlocks new paths through the zodiac, new boss encounters, and a **true ending** for those who complete the constellation.

### How it plays

Y-TYPE blends classic arcade shooting with roguelike buildcraft:

1. **Fight** — Dodge dense bullet patterns, graze for score, chain combos, and clear procedurally generated chapters themed around swarms, sniper lanes, tank walls, and elite ambushes.

2. **Draft** — After each chapter, enter the **Reward Pit** and pick one of three upgrade cards: weapon mods, bombs, relics, utility picks, rare elemental paths, and powerful **fusion** rewards at boss pits.

3. **Synergize** — Stack elemental upgrades across Fire, Electricity, Water, Nature, Light, Darkness, Wind, and Earth. Combine paths to unlock fusion abilities that dramatically change your combat style.

4. **Endure** — Face a **zodiac guardian** at the end of each domain. Twelve mythic bosses — from the charging Ram to the twin-faced Gemini — each bring unique patterns, lore, and pressure.

5. **Progress** — Earn credits, unlock ships, buy permanent meta upgrades, and rescue Pleiades sisters across runs to expand boss variety and long-term power.

Runs are fast, readable, and built for replay: every chapter changes your build, every pit forces a meaningful choice, and every boss tests whether your constellation is strong enough to hold.
